This zirconium ring is a handmade accent piece that embodies the spirit of Hawaii which features the Hawaiian koa wood. Zirconium will have a characteristic very similar to Titanium but a solid black. This is achieved by extreme temperatures which alters the metal at a molecular level to give them their black color. Shatter and break proof, the zirconium is a great alternative to other materials such as ceramic. The inlay will also be coated to protect it from moisture. The ring will be 100% moisture proof and can be worn in waters.
Beautifully crafted with the Hawaiian koa, which is a exotic wood that originates from the Big Island of Hawai'i. Different parts of the island yields a distinctive hue to the color of the wood.
The beautiful colors ranges from yellow or greenish-yellow, through orange, brown, and red, to almost black, and hues of different colors can be derived from a single trunk. In the Hawaiian language "koa" means "warrior" which symbolizes strength, fearlessness and bravery. Better than the photo!
Love it! As well as the one with just koa, without the opal, but the opal is stunning in sunlight. I have a black (ceramic) watch and band, and it makes a beautiful combo! You guys are the best!
United StatesThe ring looks really beautiful, but the quality of the material used is poor. The ring had some default also in the different pattern, I got it remade. The second one became dented and yellowish (top coat) after just a couple of weeks. My husband and I had to buy a new set somewhere else (Etsy) for cheaper. This happened in 2021, 2 years ago, and our rings from Etsy are still standing. Plus they are expensive, happy Laulea.

Our handmade Hawaiian jewelry—including sterling silver, platinum, and solid gold rings—typically takes 3–4 business days to create. Orders with multiple items or custom features such as stone settings or engraved messages may require more time. If you’ve discussed customizations with our team, please allow for a longer production window.

All of our gold, silver and platinum jewelry is handcrafted to order in Honolulu, Hawaii. Because we don’t keep a ready stock, pieces ordered midweek (such as on Wednesday) are not eligible for Saturday delivery.
